Send drawings, photos or a joint schedule, or tell us about the site, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.
Sealant on the shop floor
In retail, sealant is mostly about appearance and keeping the tills running. Shoppers notice a yellowed joint on a counter, a gap around a display unit or a stained shopfront frame, and brand teams notice them sooner. Behind the scenes, staff washrooms, tea points and stockroom floors need joints that stand up to daily use.
We work for retailers, shop fitters, facilities managers and landlords on coloured and colour-matched sealant, shopfront perimeter sealing, washroom sealing and floor joint sealing in stockrooms and showrooms.
Typical joints
- Shop-fit joinery, counters and display units
- Shopfront frames and door perimeters
- Customer and staff washrooms
- Tea points and staff kitchens
- Sales floor and showroom floor joints
- Stockroom and goods-in floor joints
Shop fits: brand finishes and programmes
Shop fits move fast, and sealant is often among the last tasks before opening. Many brands set finishes for every store, and sealant colour can be part of that schedule. We’ll confirm the colours available for the specified product, price to your finishes schedule and flag any colour the required product doesn’t come in. On a fit-out we follow the shop fitter’s programme, working as each area is released, and can return for sealant snags before handover. Read more in our colour-matching guide and sealant snagging before handover.
Working around trading hours
In an existing store the aim is to keep the doors open. Tell us your trading hours, delivery times and access windows and we’ll plan around them. Phased work can be planned so areas stay in use, sealing one section of the sales floor or one washroom at a time, with each section closed off while the product cures. Products and cure times are confirmed with the quote, so you know when each area can reopen.
Shopping centres and retail parks
Units in shopping centres and on retail parks come with landlord rules: contractor inductions, permits and set hours for deliveries and noisy work. Tell us the centre’s requirements when you send details and we’ll build them into the plan. Landlords and managing agents also look after the common parts, such as malls, entrances, service corridors and customer toilets, where the same phased approach keeps the centre trading. Outside, shopfront perimeters and facade joints face the weather like any commercial elevation, and a failed joint above a doorway soon becomes a leak that customers see. Where several units share a facade, the landlord and tenants may need to agree who orders the work, and we can quote it either way.
Multi-site retail
Retailers with several stores can give us one programme across the branches in our coverage area, with the same product and finish standards at each address and one point of contact. We cover South East England, Greater London and all of Scotland. Our piece on planned sealant maintenance explains how to build sealant into a maintenance cycle.

Retail & shop fitting: common questions
Can you match our brand colours?
We’ll confirm the colours available for the specified product and flag any shade on your schedule that it doesn’t come in.
Will the store have to close?
Usually not. Work is phased so areas stay in use, with sections closed off while the sealant cures.
Do you work for shop fitters?
Yes. We can take on the sealant on a fit-out and follow the shop fitter’s programme.
Can you do stockroom floor joints?
Yes. We fill or seal floor joints using a product suited to the traffic, pallet trucks included.
Do you work in shopping centres?
Yes. Tell us the centre’s contractor rules and permit requirements and we’ll plan within them.
Can you look after several stores?
Yes. We can quote per store or as one programme across your branches in our coverage area.
