Coloured sealant in Lindford
Shop fits, hotels and offices are where colour-matched sealant earns its place. A mismatched bead can make good joinery look unfinished, however well it was installed. We pick a colour from the product’s range that sits with the finish. Most enquiries involve old colour-matched joints lifting at the edges and a run of joints in mismatched shades, on hotel bathrooms and public areas, cladding panels and powder-coated and anodised frames. Looking for mastic applicators who cover Lindford? Mastic Doctor has worked for contractors, FMs and building owners since 2005, with CSCS-carded applicators.
Small businesses near places like Lindford frequently occupy converted farm buildings. Old masonry and timber meet new glazing and partitions in these buildings, and every junction needs a sealant that suits it.
Every job is signed off with a 12-month guarantee. The promise is simple: if our work fails within that year, we put it right.

Honest limits
Before quoting, we check that sealant is the right answer. It isn’t the answer for:
- Custom-mixed sealant colours
- A colour that never alters with age
- Restoring stained stone or masonry next to old sealant
If you are not sure, just phone 01277 525 020 or email a schedule or drawings and we will give you a straight answer before you book.
What we seal

- Shop-fit joinery and counters
- Office fit-out finishes

Shops, offices and hotels in and around Lindford
The South East is one of the drier parts of the UK. Even so, outside sealing waits for a dry joint, and cold, damp mornings can delay it. At about 42 miles from central London, Lindford is within reach of the capital. The commuter belt holds a great many offices, retail parks and business parks. Firms with branches across the South East can use one contractor for every site.
Shops and cafés around stations like Liphook station, 3.9 miles south-east of Lindford, trade from early, so work is timed around them. A business with units at Woolmer Trading Estate and Bordon Enterprise Park needn’t use two contractors for its sealant. Trade counters and showrooms on estates such as Woolmer Trading Estate, 1.1 miles south-west of Lindford, need neat joints where clients see them.

Owners, agents and contractors
Whether you’re a managing agent, a property factor or an owner’s representative: send the details, accept a fixed quote, and we carry out and guarantee the work. We can agree access arrangements and keyholder contacts beforehand.

Diagnose, treat, sign off
Our CSCS-carded applicators arrive with the sealants, primers and backing rod the job calls for. Joint faces are cleaned back to sound, dry surfaces, primer goes on where the manufacturer specifies it, and each bead is tooled to a neat concave finish. If neighbouring businesses or buildings around Lindford need work too, visits can be combined. Mention the building’s opening times and we will work within them.
- Photos or drawings show us the finishes and joints.
- Colour options from the specified product’s range are shared with you.
- Tell us your site hours and access windows and we’ll plan around them.
- Joints are prepared, primed where specified and backed.
- The agreed colour is installed and tooled neatly.
Before we start on site

Questions about Lindford
Does your area include sites such as Woolmer Trading Estate, near Lindford?
Yes. We cover Lindford and the area around it, including industrial estates, business parks and retail parks such as Woolmer Trading Estate. A few photos and the unit address let us price the work.
Is Lindford off your patch?
Not at all. Lindford is within our area. Our area covers London and the South East counties. Where we can, we group nearby jobs to make the most of each trip.
How do I request a quote?
You can use the quote form on this site; alternatively, ring 01277 525 020 or send details through our quote form. Include photographs or drawings if you have them.
Will you just go over the old sealant?
No. We cut the old material out and clean the joint back before sealing, since fresh sealant will not bond reliably to aged material.
Are you CHAS accredited and on Constructionline?
Yes. CHAS accredited, Constructionline member, and our applicators hold CSCS cards.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. Our insurance certificate can be sent alongside the quote.
How do you deal with asbestos in old sealant?
Some older mastics, especially in pre-2000 buildings, can contain asbestos. Before we disturb old sealant in an older building, we ask to see the asbestos register or survey, and if asbestos is suspected, work stops until it’s tested. Removing asbestos is a job for asbestos specialists, not us.
Should maintenance staff do it?
Certain joints really need a specialist: for example fire-rated seals that must match a tested detail, trafficked floor joints and external movement joints. A poor seal in places like these tends to cost more to put right later.
The visible bead is only part of the job. Correct depth, the right primer and a sealant matched to the movement are easy to get wrong without experience.
Why act early in Lindford
A brand roll-out or multi-site fit-out benefits from a consistent sealant colour. Setting one product and colour for every site avoids variation from one fit-out to the next. Small buildings around Lindford suffer from failed joints as much as large ones. Early resealing avoids the damage that follows a leak.
We don’t publish prices, since every building and every scope is different. Call for a quote.

What the job involves on each surface
Powder-coated and anodised frames
Metallic and anodised finishes are hard to match exactly with sealant. We’ll suggest the nearest standard colours.
Shop-fit and joinery finishes
Counters, display units and wall linings are seen close up. A sharp, even bead is as important as the colour.
